I help nonprofits with management systems that transform growing pains into sustainable success.

I’m a nonprofit executive and coach, dedicated to helping overwhelmed founders and executives navigate the challenges of growth that strain your resources and limit impact. I’ve been in your shoes. Let me give you the help I wished I’d had.

Leadership is a journey, not a trait.

My weekly Growing Nonprofits newsletter explores insights nonprofit leaders need to navigate the challenges of growth and to strengthen their impact and leadership.

Achieve the transformational GROWTH your mission requires

Prevent the BURNOUT you feel rising inside of you

    You’re a leader with a big vision, but…

    • You’ve got way too much on your plate, are constantly putting out fires, and you’re profoundly unclear on how to stop this cycle.

    • You keep spinning your wheels with piecemeal solutions that haven’t worked.

    • You’re tired and don’t know how you can keep doing this.

    How I can help:

    • I lead a 6-month-long small group called "Growing Nonprofits Community Group." These groups connect leaders facing similar challenges and it teaches a growth blueprint framework that these leaders can take back to their organizations.

    • I provide personalized mentorship and guidance to tackle leadership hurdles and confidently achieve goals. I work with leaders to define specific goals they want to achieve and help them outline actionable steps to achieve those goals. We schedule regular meetings to discuss progress, reflect on challenges, and always focus on the right next thing.

    • 1 or 2-day sessions to take on particular challenges. These provide actionable strategies and practical tools. Clients walk away with action plans and toolkits to aid implementation. Topics include strategic thinking and planning, fundraising planning and message development, team management and accountability.

    • Here, I provide a hands-on approach to specific initiatives and ensure they are executed efficiently and effectively, freeing leaders to focus on strategic priorities. Past projects include documenting routine core processes to create consistency and improve efficiency and productivity.

    • I dive in for an extended time to upgrade management and operations systems to enable growth. I can provide ongoing operations support in a budget-friendly way.

I also help visionary nonprofits raise resources for their mission.

    • "Jeremy is a strategic, inspirational, and execution-driven leader. I had the privilege of working with him as a board member when he led 10ThousandWindows, a nonprofit that helps human trafficking survivors build sustainable lives through education and training. Jeremy sees the big picture as he builds systems, manages and generates resources, and invests in the people around him. He brings high integrity, commitment and competence to all he does."

NICOLE SCANDLYN - Assistant Vice President, Brand, Stanford University

    • "Jeremy has been an amazing mentor, helping me to map out how to run the organization based on cascading goals, all of which helped me know where to focus my time and energy to be as effective as possible."

LUCY MCCRAY - CEO, The Freedom Story

    • "Jeremy mixes strategic insight with reliable execution. He can work at 30,000 feet or 3,000 feet. Above all, Jeremy knows how to work with people and create safety for them in the midst of change."

ANDREW MEANS - Founder, Good Tech Studio; Social Impact Innovator

    • "In the 10 years I’ve gotten to know Jeremy I’ve seen him excel in taking on complex challenges with creative problem-solving and strategic roadmaps. He has the intuitive ability to unlock potential within people and organizations and motivates each towards greater success."

If you don’t take time for your organization’s wellness, you’ll be forced to make time for its illness.
